At St. Mark's worship is at the core of what we do, and who we are.
On Sundays at 8AM there is a quiet, contemplative, and quite traditional service of worship. This service utilizes the Rite I liturgy, from the Book of Common Prayer, which uses old Elizabethan English (thee's and thou's abound!). This service always includes a celebration of the Holy Eucharist, otherwise known as Holy Communion or The Lord's Supper.
At 10AM (or 9:15AM in the summer) there is another service of worship that is more contemporary, is filled with music, and in which there are opportunities for families, children, and youth to participate. During the academic year we have a splendid choir, under the direction of Mr. Bill Corson. This service almost always includes Eucharist.
And, on Wednesdays at 9AM in the chapel there is an intimate and uplifting service of worship in Post Chapel.
